| Dear Jerry, I have been pointing more and more people to your new fan club as I get 30+ new requests a month from people wanting to ask you questions and show their respect. You see I have been running the Jerry Rice Web Pages (http://www.jerryrice.net) for over a year now and I finally can tell people how to reach you. Many children email or write to me asking me questions as if I am you. I simply tell them I haven't heard from you, but send them a Jerry Rice card for their efforts to reach you. Welcome aboard. |

| Jerry, I am updating my Rice Web Pages to reflect the benefits of being a member of your fan club. I notice that you said "As a member of the fan club you will be receiving a signed picture later on", yet the info on your web site does not mention that the photo will be signed. | David, Naturally I attended both high school and college at Mississippi Valley State University. Education is important because it establishes values, discipline and of course gives you the basis of the knowledge that you need to continue in life. However, you must establish goals and objectives and have the discipline and the intensity to achieve those goals. No matter how much education you may have there is nothing like having the desire and the will for success. |

| Jerry, A guy named Steve Garcia says that you and his father are friends and that his father told him that your favorite team when you were growing up was the Cowboys. Is this true and if so, who was your favorite player when you were growing up? | ||
| David, Yes the Cowboys are my favorite team. The person that I've always admired on the Cowboys team while I was growing up was Drew Pearson, among other players on the team. Thank you for congratulating me on my baby daughter, Jada. |

| Jerry, I was curious if you or Jerry Jr. spent any time collecting football cards. To my knowledge there are currently 996 different Jerry Rice cards available and counting. Do you have a large collection of your own cards? Does Steve Young collect his cards? | ||
| David, Yes I do collect my trading cards and thank you for telling me that I have 996 available. I do collect them, but I have to say that I don't have all of them. Hopefully as time goes by I will acquire more and more and maybe someday I'll have, who knows, over 1,000 or so. So thanks, David, thanks for being a fan. |
