Jerry- I hope you are recovering ok from your knee surgery. You probably don^t remember me but I recieve a tremendous amount of credibility as a physical therapist when I tell people I have worked on Jerry Rice's knees! In 1993 I was living in Fremont and working at the clinic next to Bay 101 gym in Menlo Park. You and Jamie Williams would come over after your workouts looking for some sympathy! Actually that was just Jamie---he whined about his back! A few times I had the honor of ultrasounding your knees.and enjoyed talking to you about your family rather than football. When people ask what you were like I always say -- he's a regular guy who just happens to play football really well. I know you can still play football -- you just better still be a nice guy too. Before I play footbal with friends or on a team I watch 49er games over and over to see how you get open. Where I live for the last 2 weeks people have bben talking about you. On TV they say you are out for the season. I think because you keep your body fit and healthy you will be back for maybe the last 3 or 4 games of the regular season. Whatever you do don't force yourself to come back so quick, wait till you seriously think you could come back with out re-injuring your knee.
